• Peter Capon, Leyland Trucks product development director, has challenged operators to put forward ideas on how the latest truck technology may be used.
Speaking at Aston University in Birmingham on Monday (December 8) Capon invited his audience to tell him how the various technologies demonstrated on Leyland's TX 450 Motor Show exhibit (CM October 11) could be used to improve distribution efficiency.
"We have gone as far as we can go with the TX 450, now we need feedback," says Capon, adding: "I don't understand the distribution business, I am a vehicle designer."
