• London and South-East M2 Kent: Lane restrictions between junctions 5 and 7 (Sittingbourne and Faversham) until end of December.
Mll London: Major roadworks at Redbridge roundabout (Al2), until May 1987. M20 Kent:
Contraflow between junctions 7 and 8 (Maidstone).
M23 Surrey: Outside lanes closed both ways for work on central reservations between Hooley and Mertsharn. M25 Junction 13: (A30 Staines), widening work on clockwise exit slip road.
M40 Thames Valley: Lane closures eastbound between junctions 5 and 6 (West Wycombe/Princes Risborough) and down to one lane eastbound between junctions 6 and 7 (Princes Risborough and Thame). Entry slip road at junction 7 closed.
M275 Hampshire: Between M27 intersection and Rudmore roundabout Portsmouth. Construction of new flyover.
M Midlands M1 Nottinghamshire: Lane restrictions near junction 28 (A38 Mansfield). M1 Northamptonshire: Roadworks between junctions 15 and 16 (Northampton and Daventry).
M5 West Midlands: Major roadworks between junctions 5 and 6 (Droitwich and Worcester North). Northbound restricted to hard shoulder only. No access northbound at junction 6. A41 Warwickshire: Roadworks at Hatton north of Warwick.
M54 Shropshire Various lane closures at junction 7 near Telford.
A456 Herefordshire and Worcestershire: Roadworks at Bewdley.
■ North MI South Yorkshire: Repair work between junctions 31 and 33 (A57 Worksop and A630 Rotherham). Various slip road closures at junctions 31 and 32 (M18 interchange) until end of January.
M6 Merseyside: Roadworks at junction 23 until end of December. Also contraflow between junctions 29 and 32 (A6 Preston and M55 interchange) until January.
MIS South Yorkshire: Contraflow between junctions 1 and 2 (Rotherham and Al (M)). Delays likely until late December. Also contraflow between junctions 6 and 7 (Thome and M62). Southbound exit and northbound entry slip roads closed at junction 6. Delays likely until December 22.
M61 Blacow Bridge: Construction work at M6 interchange. Lane closures both directions until December, M63 Greater Manchester: Roadworks on northbound carriage way until end of December.
M63 Greater Manchester: Major widening at Barton Bridge. Various restrictions between junctions 1 and 7 (M62 and A57), avoid if possible, long term. M63 Greater Manchester: Link road from A34 junction 10 to M63, northbound carriageway reduced to single lane only for bridge painting until end of December.

M4 Wiltshire: Contraflow between junctions 16 and 17 (Swindon and Cirencester).
M4 Mid-Glamorgan: Restrictions both directions between junctions 34 and 35 (A4119 Llantrisant and A473 Bridgend).
M5 Gloucestershire: Contraflow at junction 14 (Thombury). Northbound entry slip road closed until mid-December.
M5 Avon and Somerset: Lane closures northbound between junctions 20 and 21 (Clevedon and A370 Weston-Super-Mare). Delays at peak times until December. Also various restrictions between junctions 22 and 28 (A38 Burnham-on-Sea and A373 Honiton).

MS Glasgow: Construction work between junctions 15 and 17 (City Centre and Dumbarton) until March 1987.
M74 Contraflow at junction 5 (A725), until midDecember.
M90 Fife: Contraflow between junctions 3 and 4 (Dunfermline and Kelty) and carriageway repairs between junctions 5 and 8 (Glenrothes and A91 Glenfarg).
