• Leyland Trucks has strengthened its northern sales and service team with the appointment of Murdo Macleod, 34, to regional manager for Scotland and Northern Ireland.
Macleod is responsible for the sales and service of all Leyland Truck products, including fleet sales, through the distributor network within the region.
He joined Leyland in 1968 and has held various positions within engineering, sales and business development, gaining much of his experience in Scotland.
He returns there from Leyland (Lanes) where he spent two years as national fleet service manager.
