Negotiations over the formation of the new company are expected to be finalised early in 1987 and its headquarters in a new office building in Detroit established soon afterwards. David Hopley, vice president of Deere's engine group, is expected to become Dedec's president with Ludvik Koci, general manager of DDA, becoming its board chairman.
