the R H A to persuade the Motor Agents Association to modify its conditions under which repairs are carried out.
They are: a limit on extra work undertaken without reference to the customer; the repairer accepting responsibility for work done by subcontractors; any delay in completion of work for which the repairer is not held liable must be fair; notification that repairs are completed must be sent by recorded delivery post; and, the repairer should guarantee that the work has been done satisfactorily.
