• Many of today's young logistics and distribution managers come from non-transport backgrounds. With this in mind, Huddersfield University is offering a five-day introductory course in supply chain management for recently qualified graduates now working in transport. The course, at the Centre for Logistics and Distribution Management at Huddersfield University, has been updated this year to give greater emphasis to "the concepts of logistics and total supply chain management", and runs from 16-20 November.
