Ene of the Hawk's colleagues holidaying in , Dorset last month spotted this novel use for the back of a lorry.
A trade union gathering in Tolpuddle celebrating the anniversary of six farm workers deported to Australia in 1834 for taking "unlawful" oaths so exhausted the limited space in the village pub that a second bar was convened in the car park. The optics were handily situated on the rigid's tailgate.
The good mood created by dealing with the thirsty overspill led to few oaths being administered — illegal or otherwise.
