Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• BRS's contract with Nestle to distribute milk products from its factory in Dumfries, Scotland could be under threat following Nestle's decision to switch production of Carnation milk goods to Ashbourne in Derbyshire. Plans for reorganisation will be discussed later this month by senior BRS managers and the team at the factory. "We are not able to say much at this point," says BRS national account manager Simon Hobbs.

Local hauliers Pountain Transport and Littleover distribute finished goods produced at Ashbourne and could be in a position to benefit from Nestle's decision.

Production of Carnation milk goods at Ashbourne will rise from 215,000 litres a day to around 370,000. Transfer of production will be phased over the next 18 months.

0 BRS Scottish operations will be further altered by current moves to turn Milk Marketing Boards into voluntary co-operatives (CM 6-12 August). BRS is a sub-contractor to the Scottish Milk Marketing Board which collects milk from farms and delivers it to food product manufacturers.
