Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

On 1 October the DTP plans to raise the maximum fee charged by approved tachograph centres for the calibration of tachographs from the current £28.80 plus VAT to £30.50 plus VAT. At the same time it wants to increase the twoyear tachograph inspection fee from £12.32 plus VAT to 213.05 plus VAT.

The RHA says: "The proposed increases are well above the current year-toyear retail price index, and in both cases they exceed inflation by more than 35%." It has also criticised the current 1.5-hour calibration period allowance.
