year with two new carderived-van models based on the Fiat U110 hatchback, and the Uno Duna estate.
The first Duna-based vans will be available in the UK early in 1988, and will be offered with the choice of either a 1.1-litre petrol engine, rated at 43kW (58hp), or a 1.7-litre 45kW (60hp) diesel engine similar to the diesel unit currently used in the right-hand-drive Regatta saloon. A fivespeed gearbox will be standard on both versions.
The Uno hatchback-based van is expected to replace the Fiorino next August and will have a box body similar to that of the existing Fiorino model.
The Duna-based van will compete in the UK with other estate-based CDVs like the Bedford Astravan and Peugeot 305. It will have a gross weight of around 1.42 tonnes, offering a payload of 470kg, and a load volume measuring around 1.5m3.
