THE international operation of Kwikasair Ltd is to be pruned of its groupage services and the company is to concentrate more of its resources on UK transport.
Though the groupage service to Ireland will be retained, other international transport will involve only full load traffic. The group's other UK subsidiary, Alltrans Express, will continue to provide its forwarding services including Middle East transport.
In June, Kwikasair consolidated its principal operating divisions in London and the Home Counties into a single. headquarters at Hounslow close to London Airport and the A40 and M3 road network. This was the first move in expanding its domestic services.
