• J. Lofthouse. Mickle Trafford, Chester, trading as Lofty's Tours, is negotiating for the day excursion coach business of George Taylor Ltd, Market Square, Chester, which also has a motor agent's business.
A spokesman for George Taylor's said:
"The matter is still in the air. It has still to be settled." The firm's six Ford coaches, which operate day excursion tours, would be involved.
A spokesman for Lofty's, which has 12 coaches at present, said the deal was more or less settled. Previously Lofty's specialized in private hire and work contract services.
