• A new £160,000 end-loading terminal has been completed and put into use at Gourock to permit direct loading of transport vehicles, buses and cars to the car ferry Iona. A I2-minute turnround will now be possible by the use of the new terminal. A similar ramp is planned for the Dunoon end of the Gourock-Dunoon run, to be constructed by Dunoon town council.
