THE ASSOCIATION for Distribution Development has launched a new training programme aimed at raising the management standards in the distribution industry.

It is designed for graduate and management trainees new to the distribution industry.

Based on a series of three separate one-week courses it covers concept and strategy of physical distribution management, component activity areas, control and performance monitoring of a distribution system and planning for a network.

The cost is £1,200 for three weeks and there are discounts if a company sends three or more students. If just one week is required the cost is £450.
