Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Alcan Booth has opened its first bodybuilder centre at Banbury. It offers bodybuilders in the Midlands a comprehensive service and supply of body sets, materials and components. Two more centres — at Colnbrook and Cheadle Hulme — will be opened shortly.

The bodybuilder can make use of the centres in a variety of ways: he may order standard lengths of extrusion or sheet, complete systems cut to length and size for a specific design or as sets which are mitred, drilled and punched, in a variety of surface finishes, and fully designed ready for assembly. There are also completed components ready to slot on to a vehicle.

The first of a series of designs to be sold through the centres is the Superlight Van which will be available for Ford Transit, Bedford CF, Commer and Leyland chassis. Designed for below 30ewt ulw on all petrol chassis and for 34-ton gross operation on all petrol and most diesel chassis, the body is available in either van or Luton form. Construction is in aluminium extrusion for the frame and aluminium sheet for the panels.

Price of a 550 cu ft Luton body for a Bedford CF is £104 fully built. For a van body of 500 cu ft capacity for a Ford Transit 175 chassis the price is £89. Available as an optional extra for both bodies is an aluminium floor at a cost of £29.
