AN extendible single-axle semi-trailer with a capacity of 12 tons has been introduced by Taskers of Andover (1932), Ltd. It is designed to give a maximum length of 38 ft. for the transport of selfsupporting loads 4nd close down to a minimum of 26 ft. as a platform for general loads. The frame is in two sections, the main members of the forward section sliding into 'the rear section members. To give lateral stability when closed, tapered pins in the rear members engage with sockets in the forward members.
