1--,RDERS for 131 single-deck, 36-ft. x
8-ft. 21-in: bus bodies have been received by Willowbrook, Ltd., from companies within the B.E.T. group. They are to be built in accordance with the B.E.T. Federation's standardized specification for 1962-1963, and will follow on existing orders for 62 similar Willowbrook bodies now being built.
A.E.C. Reliance chassis are specified for 68 of the buses in the latest order, compriiing 35 for the North-Western Road Car Co., Ltd., 19 for the Northern General Transport Co., Ltd., ten for the Potteries Motor Traction Co., Ltd., and four for the East Midland Motor Services, Ltd.
Leyland Leopard chassis are to be the basis for the remaining 63 vehicles, of which 24 are for the Trent Motor Traction Co., Ltd., ten for the Potteries Motor Traction Co., Ltd., ten for the East Midland Motor Services, Ltd., nine for the Yorkshire Traction Co., Ltd., six for the Sunderland District Omnibus Co., and four for Hebble Motor Services, Ltd.
