• A survey by Shell Oil UK claims that LGV drivers are the least fuel-conscious in the country.
Fuel for Thought studied drivers' attitudes to fuels. Only 49% of HGV drivers were con cerned about fuel emissions, although 87% said they were aware of the impact on the environment. Owner-drivers choosing their own vehicles ranked fuel efficiency and power as the most important factors.
