Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Chester-le-Street-based haulier Pilkington has taken delivery of a 53,000-litre triple-compartment tanker tailored to suit its UK-Continental operation.

The tanker, built by Magyar, is made of 316 stainless steel with pressure discharge, and carries 26,500 litres of nonhazardous chemicals to the Continent, shared between the front and rear sections. It returns to the UK with a 26,500-litre back load, removing the need for expensive cleaning costs in Europe, especially in France, where cleaning can entail a 5001cm trip to the nearest wash-out station.

The tanker can carry up to 21.5 tonnes and is ADR/IMO 4 approved. It has air suspended SAF tri-axle running gear with a front lifter.
