Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

DENNIS Brothers at Guildford have bought a 1963 Daimler CVG6 to use as a mobile testbed for the components to be used in their new 'decker chassis. The planned layout of the new chassis was revealed in CM June 20.

A Gardner 6LXB engine and Voith D851 gearbox are to be fitted to the 'conventional frontengined chassis in place of the existing units, primarily to check their characteristics when combined and to give an indication of the fuel consumption of the vehicle. Only after these trials have been completed successfully will a new chassis be constructed. This will have the engine arid ge box mounted transversely the rear driving through right-angle drive to the Den low-line rear axle.

Dennis consulted PTE cl engineers before embarking the project, but will get test-bed bus on the road fore any further discussions
