Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

THE TOP haulage driver in Ayrshire is George Cunningham, the 25-year-old transport manager of his family's Galston-based haulage business.

He won the title by putting an eight-wheeler through its paces in an annual contest sponsored by the Ayrshire RHA at Prestwick on Sunday. Mr Cunningham had already won the eight-wheeler class in regional finals held at Glasgow.

A man with an artificial leg won the heaviest vehicle section award at Sunday's contest. He is John Mackie, 31, of Dreghorn, who is employed by Vibroplant, Irvine.

Mr Mackie drove a 40ft artic through a series of complicated tests to earn the Millburn Trophy. He has been driving for 10 years, even though his right leg was amputated when he was 17.

This was the fourth Ayrshire contest, which was also sponsored by Esso Petroleum, and there were many demonstration vehicles on show. Mrs Betty Fulton, lady chairman of the Ayrshire RHA, presented the prizes.
