• York Neville Charrold chose last week's Institute of Road Transport Engineers Scottish Show to unveil the latest incarnation of the Magnum tipper trailer range, designated the Magnum 2000.
The new bulk tipping semitrailer features a "bathtub" design which provides 42.3m3 capacity. Computer stress analysis helped provide a floor height of only 194mrn above the surface of the fifth wheel. At 38 tonnes GCW in 2+3 combination, the Magnum 2000 offers a 26-tonne payload.
