• Transport Development Group subsidiary Contract Hire (Commercial Vehicles) has just completed the conversion of a Leyland 17.28 Roadtrain 38tonne tractor unit_ The company's workshop extended the wheelbase to 5.0m and fitted Granning ST air-suspension with a lifting pusher axle.
A Brimec "Centurion" hyc rank recovery system was bought in kit form and fitted in-house. The Roadtrain will used for the recovery of top weight artic combinations.
