SON AND FATHER Paul and John Davison of John Dee Transport, County Durham, netted an impressive first and second place in the first Commercial Motor/Trailerent golf match at Woodcote Park, Surrey, last Friday.
Son Paul (right) mastered driving rain and occasional cloudbursts to take the winner's plate, seen presented here by CM editor Allan Winn and a portable television set courtesy of Trailerent.
Third was Nick Bush, unit load manager with Frans Maas (UK), who had a productive inbound half but had left himself just too much to do after struggling to hit the target on the outward nine.
CM journalist Jack Semple came a dutiful fourth, just outside the prize bracket.
