Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

SECOMAK Air Products has developed an exhaust gas extraction fan system for vehicle workshops where engines have to he left running for servicing and tuning.

The Vextract fans consist of a lightweight aluminium fan chamber mounted on a tubular steel frame with an electrical control box. The frame is designed so the extractor can be carried around a workshop and used as a free standing unit. When used in this way the outlet hose is simply passed through a window, or outside door to allow the fumes to disperse. Alternatively the unit can be wall mounted and used with a fixed rigid outlet duct.

For light vehicles, Vextract extractors are supplied with two 5mm hoses fitted with push-on connectors to suit exhaust pipes from 40-80mm diameter and a 5mm outlet hose. For heavy commercials Vextract units have a single port inlet manifold carrying a 5rom extraction hose with a connector for exhaust pipes from 60-100mm diameter.

Both models have motors rated at 370W and operate on 230/250V AC, 50Hz power supplies.
