TIDY DISC STORAGE

TACHODISC of Bacup. Lancashire has introduced a new Driver Pak tachograph disc storage system specifically for owner drivers and small-fleet operators.

The Driver Pak consists of 300 tacho discs and 50 envelopes, each envelope taking a week's used discs and having space for a written entry on the front. There is also a soft black plastic wallet for current discs and an office filingbox capable of storing a year's charts.

Discs to suit all major EEC tachograph makes, including Lucas Keinzle, Smiths and Veeder-Root, are available. Price of the Tachograph Driver Pak is £10 including VAT.

QUICK STRIPPER

CYLINDER liner removal can be speeded up by a new hydraulic press being offered by Ward Machinery.

The Ward Forsyth unit for commercial vehicle workshops is based on existing 30, 50 and 60-tonne press designs and has been specially modified for liner removal. It has a powerful down and return stroke action, providing a powerful stripping force. This enables both open and closed block liner removals to he carried out in minutes.

The Ward Forsyth press accommodates a wide variety of engine blocks, and can also I used for other IlEAVY-DUTY square section load retainers are now offered by Desma for use on its 4321 and 4323 ladder racks, or on any roof rack with 25mm square section cross bars.

The load retainers are designed particularly to prevent ladders sliding forward under heavy braking. When used two to each rack bar, they can also prevent rack loads from moving sideways.
