GKN CI1LP, the pallet company, has renewed its appeal for industry to return its stray pallets.

Its security manager, Alan French, recently visited the New Covent Garden fruit and vegetable market in London and recovered over 100 stray pallets. It has already conducted similar exercises at markets in Birmingham, Portsmouth, Southampton and Belfast.

He warned that GKN Chep will claim hack any of its stray pallets wherever it finds them, regardless of whether anyone has paid for them with money or in exchange fir other pallets.

The company will continue to visit wholesale markets on a regular basis.
