DURING July, 1962. commercial vehicle production totalled 21.154. This figure was much smaller than that for the preceding month (40,569) but this was to be expected in view of the usual influence of the holiday period. The production figure for July, 1961, was 36,043.,_ The number of commercial vehicles exported in July was 13,647, value £10.8 m. Both in volume and value there was little change in export figures cornpared with the average for the period January-June, 1962. Exports in July, 1961, were 15,340, value £12 m.
In June, 1962, the figure for exports was 13,473, Value £10.5 m.
