CLAYTON DEWANDRE Air-Pak airassisted hydraulic braking systems are now available on Austin and Morris normaland forward-control dieselengined 5-, 6and 7-ton models (with the exception of the FG K100 Low Loader 5-tonners) and on the I8-ton g.t.w. (FF K360) tractive unit. Prices for this optional equipment are as follows:—
The standard compressor for Air-Pak
brakes on Austin and Morris trucks is the Clayton Dewandre type SC6. This is suitable for the operation of other ancillary items such as trailer brakes, air wiper motors and air horns without loss of braking efficiency.
Distributor Fuel Pumps
THE C.A.V. DPA distributor-type fuel." injection pump, already a standard feature of the B.M.C. 1.5-litre diesel, will become standard equipment on all B.M.C. 2.2-litre, 5.1-litre and 5.7-litre diesel engines for 1963.
