Institut of Mechanical Engineers, Mr. H. A. De presented an address entitled "From He line News to Accepted Practice" to annual general meeting of the division Tuesday, Dr. Dean has been assistant ch engineer of Vauxhall Motors, Ltd., sh 1953.His address dealt with design featu that began as " break-throughs " but ; now _commonplace, such as four-wh brakes, synchromesh gearboxes and in pendent front suspension.
