call for a Government study into improved road, rail and port facilities at the Scottish end of the Larne-Stranraer/ Caimryan ferry routes. The Dumfries and Galloway Regional Council wants further improvements to the A75 Stranraer-Gretna road and for Stranraer harbour facilities to be brought up to the standard of those at Larne.
