In a recent article the Reverend Evans writes: "Our country churches (and to a lesser extent our urban ones) are full of people who seem to want to thank someone for His blessing on their crops and endeavours. You have given us rain and sun, fertilisers and diesel engines so that our barns are full, our dryers drone into the night and our freezers and supermarkets are overflowing.'" But I still don't understand why the hairdryers are droning into the night.
