Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Foden has developed a daycab version of its full-width HiLine cab for 4000 Series tractive units and rigids.

The ceiling of the top-of-therange cab is 300mm higher than the current fiat-roof day cab to offer up to 1.8m headroom at the back of the cab. Externally the roof line is aerodynamically profiled to blend in with the radiused corners of the 4000 Series cab structure.

Compared with Foden's standard full-width cab, the extra headroom adds 20kg to the unladen weight and E470 to the list price.

All 3000 and 4000 Series models can now be specified with the optional ZF Ecomid 9S109 nine-speed synchromesh gearbox with a torque rating of

1,150Nin (8481hft). The compact design is said to weigh 100kg less than similarly rated gearboxes. Its new synchronizer

unit, available with a double-H shift, is claimed to provide a uniformly low shift force throughout the range.
