Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Exel Logistics is adding 102 Leyland Daf 60 Series 17-tontiers to its Newsflow delivery fleet. All vehicles are fitted with Southfields 7.3m Fleetloada curtain-sided bodies and aerodynamic packages. The body floors are inclined slightly to the centre line; according to Southfields this reduces the tendency for the magazines and newspapers to lean outwards against the curtains during cornering.

Deck height is a claimed 1.3m, achieved by removing the suspension packers, and loading height is two metres. At the rear a wide-slat Henderson roller shutter has been specially developed to eliminate rattle.

The aerodynamic package, worth about £1,750 (ex-VAT) for each vehicle, was developed in conjunction with Loughborough University and manufactured by Southfields Aerodynamic Vehicles Systems (SAVE). It includes a GRP cab-top fairing, cab-to-body collar, under-bumper air dam and full-length side skirts. Southfields claims fuel savings of up to 20%.

The company has expanded its production facilities and taken on 10 additional staff to cope with its current work schedule, worth more than £2.25m.
