In addition to the F16, Volvo is showing two more new models. The Irvine-built 6x4 FL7 has the new R1000 nine-speed range-change synchromesh gearbox.
Its nominal 1,000Nm torque capacity caters for the 6.0% increased torque of the FL7's TD71F charge-cooled engine.
The other new vehicle on show is an F16 4x2 17-tonne GVW fitted with the new full depth sleeper cab that is available for FL6 models between 12 and 17 tonnes.
