I Prosecutions against two millers for allegedly breaking ie London lorry ban have ten postponed until next tonth because of iministrative problems. Spalding Haulage, of palding, Lincs, and J Oldham, I Hollington, Staffs, will now ppear at Hampstead lagistrates Court on 10 )ecember, facing charges rought by Camden council. 'he case had been due on 23 fovember.
Both hauliers are alleged to ave driven lorries on Kilburn ugh Road in July. Heavy ;oods vehicles over 16.5 tonnes ;VW are banned from the apital during evenings and weekends, unless they have a ;pecial permit.
The prosecutions are the irst of their kind under laws ntroduced by the former 3reater London Council. )thers are expected in the iew year, following a clampiown by London boroughs.
