Trathen's management team, accused of conspiring with drivers to falsify tachograph records, have been adjourned for the second time at the request of the defence who wants more time to prepare its case.
The defendants are Keith Roper of Cowley, Uxbridge; Graham Masters of Horrabridge, Yelverton; David Trathen of Tavistock; Michael Trathen of Yelverton; James Bennett of Dousland, YeIverton; Nigel Fox of Kingstamerton, Plymouth and Kenneth Smith of Chertsey.
Avon North Magistrates have set a new date for the hearing on 7 December. In June, 37 of the company's drivers were ordered to pay fines and costs totalling £8,302 after admitting specimen charges of falsifying tachograph charts.
