Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• The long-awaited haulage version of Allied Aims' vehicle cost management system (VCMS), designed for hire and reward operators, should be ready by March next year, but already Allied is talking to potential road transport customers.

Allied says it has already won interest in the road haulage package from Kelly Trucks, United Transport Tankers and Central Trailer Rentals.

Though classed as a road haulage package in itself, the latest version of Allied's vehicle cost management system is more of an add-on to the existing system. Current customers will be able to bring their systems up to haulage specification when the new package becomes available. VCMS is one of the most popular computer systems in road freight. Existing customers include the Post Office, British Rail and Allied Breweries.
