Ever since females found a new freedom through the Sex Discrimination Act we've been bombarded with tales of how well they are now able to do a man's job as transport managers, motor mechanics, lorry drivers and salesmen or women or should it be persons. Indeed it's all become very boring, that is until this week when we heard about Olga Williams, the ballet dancer who tripped into the business by selling and leasing lorries.

Olga, who is employed by H &J Quick at Trafford Park, Manchester is in the big truck business and was this week receiving her biggest rave notices to date. She has just completed a il1/4m contract with British Road Services. Her boss, John Leeming had this to say. "Her work rate is fantastic. There is no truth in the rumour that Olga calls John "the bally master."
