Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Stand 88—Callanders Eng. Co. Ltd., Glasgow W2.

QNLY two vehicles produced by Daimler-Benz on this stand are likely to be of interest to vehicle operators. These are an ambulance based on a passenger car model and a Unimog off-the-road vehicle which is in fact called a "tractor."

The Unimog is a 406 model, which is the larger of .the two types made. The Show model is the standard design with

an all-steel cab and the mcist interesting feature is the special transmission. A new design of gearbox is fitted which incorporates an auxiliary section in front of the main six-speed gearbox and this provides no less than 20 forward ratios. In the lowest ratio available the vehicle speed at maximum engine revs is said to be less than *5 ft. per minute, whilst the maximum speed of the vehicle is 45 m.p.h. Also fitted on the chassis are 22-20 high-flotation tyres with which the ground loading is 3 psi.
