CCONSTANT readers of "The Commercial Motor " will know that we include in our ordinary issues certain regular features of particular interest and value to operators of commercial vehicles, but for the sake of those into whose hands this journal finds its way for the first time, we will give a brief summary of these and other outstanding ways in which we render assistance to the road-transport industry as a whole.

Of the weekly features, one of the most valuable is "Problems of the Haulier and Carrier," of which an instalment is included in this number. "Phases of Passenger Travel" is the title of another feature giving up-to-date news of this section of the industry and many valuable pointers.

Our "Opinions and Queries" pages are always full of interest. They contain valuable suggestions and advice.

Recently published patents pertaining to motor vehicles are dealt with and criticised in an interesting resume.

Our page for prize-winning letters from drivers is much appreciated and gives many useful tips.
