Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

TE novelty on this stand is the rigid six-wheeler which incorporates a tabular bogie frame carrying all four wheels. It is not of the flexible type, but a spring suspension permits the weight to be uniformly distributed when the vehicle is being driven under load. The axis of the pivots is above the axles, so as to transfer weight to the rear axle of the bogie when ascending stiff gradients. The drive to both axles is by chain, and six forward speeds are provided, three of these being obtained through the medium of an epicyclic gearbox, whilst an auxiliary box of the sliding-pinion type carries

H44 two forward speeds and one reverse. The machine is capable of climbing grassy banks of 1 in 2.

A standard Trojan engine is used in this machine as in the other two exhibits. It has four cylinders, works on the two-stroke-cycle principle, is water-cooled, and has a bore and stroke of 21 ins. and 4'-gins, respectively, giving a capacity of 1,488 c.c., and a Treasury rating of 10 h.p.

In the six-wheeler a Still-tube radiator is used, and a fan is employed.

A van body is mounted upon the standard chassis to form a 7-cwt. boxvan with a capacity of 65 cubic ft. This model can be Impplied upon solid or pneumatic tyres. Starting is by means of a handle situated to the right of the driver's seat and, in Cases of emergency, the gears in the opicyclic box can be used as brakes.

Having a similar power unit and transmission layout is the 10-ewt. van. In this case, however; the rear springs are of the semi-elliptic type instead of the special Trojan cantilevers. This van has a capacity of 90 cubic ft., and can be supplied with pneumatic or solid tyres. The front hubs have grease nipples on them to avoid the need for hubcap removal.
