A spokesman at turnaround firm KSA Group believes a fall in volumes in March may have affected the haulage sector.
He says: “KSA Group is working with two mid-sized haulage and logistics companies to assess its recovery and restructuring options. Both cite high fuel costs and slightly lower sales volumes as the double whammy that has led to the edge of insolvency.
“Thankfully, both have taken advice early and should recover and avoid administration or liquidation.”
