THIEVES HAVE ALSO escaped with two trucks containing £400,000 worth of alcohol from the Dalgety Bay area of Fife.

They struck at 9pm on 17 April when three or four offenders entered the secure compound and stole two tractor units which they then attached to trailers stored in the yard. One trailer contained 2,080 cases of brandy; the other was packed with 11,000 litres of wine.

One truck was later recovered, minus its load, on 18 April in a layby in Huddersfield.
