flatbed drawbar into service to distribute bikes from its base at Eastleigh, Hampshire to retail outlets throughout Britain. Kawasaki is hoping that the drawbar will offer greater operational flexibility as well as a lower road tax bill than an artic.
The drawbar offers a total deck length of 12.8 metres, which is enough to handle 38 crated bikes. Body length on the rigid is 6.1m with the rear overhang modified to accept an Atlas crane. Andover Trailers supplied the bodywork.
