Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

SEVERAL manufacturers of spray suppression materials (CM, April 14) are busily preparing themselves for the E40mworth of business which will be created by the regulations which are soon to be published. But, surprisingly, only one displayed its products at Tipcon last week.

That was NetIon of Blackburn which, together with the University of Southampton, built the test rig used by the BSI technical committee responsible for drafting the anti-spray standard.

Netlon uses a sandwich of three layers of polyester mesh mounted on a reinforced rubber backing material.

This manufacturer, which is probably best known for the plastic meshes it produces for use in gardens, has waited for the regulations to be finalised before committing itself to design and price.

That price will be very competitive at £39.50 per axle set, including installation kit, for flaps which can be fitted to old or new wings.
