HENDERSON MOBILE has taken account of customer experience in a new range of high-specification of tail-lifts designed for safety, durability and appearance.

It has a slam lock to prevent the operator from being injured by badly stowed loads. Maintenance is reduced to a minimum, according to the Romford, Essex, company, and the flatback makes it easy to apply signwriting.

Two lifts have already undergone trials with the South West Gas Board on vehicles used to carry heavy equipment. EEC FINANCE is helping the export of 22 Bedford TJ1090 lorries for a coffee rehabilitation programme in Uganda.

The lorries all have bodies designed and built by Reynolds Boughton, and have been supplied to Rajimpex, a Londonbased company with offices in Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania, which has a contract with the Uganda Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry.

Nineteen are 179in wheelbase models with fixed side bodies with a canvas canopy and superstructure, while the other three are 155in models with 6cum fixed side tipper bodies with a cab guard and front-end tipping gear.
