• Runcorn New Town's busway the road preserved for public transport will not be used fully until possibly some years' time, according to Crosville Motor Services Ltd Divisional manager Sydney Morgan.
Explained Mr Morgan: "The busway is being used more and more by people living in the New Town, The problem is that the busway is ahead of its time because it is running along sections where there are no people living to use the service.
"Our policy was to provide a service before the people moved into the new estates in order to get used to the busway system."
