A standard Ray-O-Vac 6-volt battery forms the base of each lantern, a combined light unit, carrying handle and switch being attached to the threaded terminals.

Two of the lanterns have sealed beam light units; type 301 costs £4 Os. 2d. and type 303, which is similar to it but has in addition a red flashing warning light, costs £4 13s. The light unit of the third lantern, type 304, hangs vertically downwards from a strap handle and costs £2 18s. Id. Replacement batteries cost £1 Is. each.

The whole range is made in both a high gloss or a matt furniture finish and there are postforming, bending and thin grades.
