• The Jack Allen group, which sells and services US-designed/ Scottish-built Colectomatic refuse systems, is re-organising manufacturing and service.
Most of the production side is to be re-located at the Hillend factory owned by the American company Heil, which is spending £3m on improved plant.
Jack Allen is also investing E,350,000 in expanding the service side at Birmingham.
